Terms and conditions

Effective 27 October 2026. These terms apply when you use laisha.ai, the Laisha web app or the Laisha app for Android.

Laisha is provided by LAISHA (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, a company registered in India (CIN U62011WB2026OPC289399; registered office 4th Floor, Devi Market, 83 S P Mukherjee Road, Kalighat, Kolkata 700026, West Bengal, India) ("Laisha", "we", "us"). By using Laisha you agree to these terms, our privacy policy and our refund and cancellation policy.

The service

Laisha is an agricultural information and productivity service: free public guides and tools, and, in the app, Ask Laisha (an AI assistant), calculators, document and image analysis, weather and market information, and record-keeping tools.

Your account

Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. One account per person. You must be at least 13 to create an account; if you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and supervise your use. One account also signs you in at sunyra.ai.

Laisha Smarter

• Price. Laisha Smarter is one subscription at US$10 a month, the same price in every country. If you pay in another currency, the payment provider or app store converts it from US$10; your bank may add its own charges.
• Free trial. A new account gets 10 days of Laisha Smarter free, with no card needed. Nothing is charged unless you subscribe.
• Renewal. A subscription renews every month until you cancel.
• Cancel any time. On the web: in the app, Settings → Subscription → Manage or cancel (or write to us). On Android: Play Store app → Menu → Subscriptions → Laisha → Cancel. Nothing is charged after that; you keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
• Who takes the payment. On the web, Dodo Payments, the merchant of record; in the Android app, Google Play. See the refund and cancellation policy.
• What is included, and its fair-use limits (for example a monthly number of questions and uploads), is shown on the subscription page. We may change the price for future periods with notice before it applies to you.

Answers are AI-generated

Ask Laisha's answers are generated by an AI system and shown with a confidence indicator; they can be wrong or out of date. They are not advice from a licensed agronomist, veterinarian, doctor, lawyer or financial adviser. Before acting on a high-stakes decision (a chemical dose, an animal's health, a loan or a large sale), confirm with a qualified local expert or your agricultural extension officer. Knowledge marked as community knowledge is unverified.

Acceptable use

Do not use Laisha to break the law, to generate harmful or misleading content, to get at other people's accounts or data, to scrape or reverse-engineer the service, to resell access without our permission, or to interfere with its operation. Enter other people's personal details (customers, workers) only where you are allowed to. Posts in the community must be lawful and respectful; we moderate them and may remove any post.

Your content and ours

You keep ownership of what you submit (questions, farm details, documents, photos, records). You let us process it to run the service for you and, in the anonymised, redacted form described in the privacy policy, to strengthen Laisha's shared knowledge library. Laisha's software, design, curated knowledge and content belong to us or our licensors; you may share links and short quotations with attribution.

Third-party services

Laisha relies on third-party services, including Google Gemini for answers, OpenWeatherMap and Open-Meteo for weather, and Google Play or Dodo Payments for payments (the full list is in the privacy policy). Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for their availability or acts.

No warranty, and limits on liability

Laisha is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on Laisha's output, or for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost crops, profits or data. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us for the subscription period in which the claim arose and ₹1,000 (or its equivalent). Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for fraud or gross negligence.

You agree to compensate us for claims and losses caused by your breach of these terms or by content you submit that infringes someone else's rights.

Ending

You can stop using Laisha and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where practical.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first; most problems are settled that way. Otherwise, the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal have jurisdiction, without taking away the protection of the consumer laws of the country where you live. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

Changes

We may update these terms as Laisha changes. If a change matters, we will tell account holders in the app or by email before it takes effect. Questions: [email protected].
