AI Assistant
Ask Laisha is the app's general-purpose AI chat assistant — the same place a farmer can type an ordinary question, upload a document, a spreadsheet, a presentation, or a photo, and get a plain-language answer back.
It doubles as the entry point for two other real capabilities: attach a crop photo and Laisha walks through a structured crop-health check, asking for the crop, growth stage, where the pattern shows up in the field, recent weather, irrigation and field operations, then separates what it can actually see in the photo from possible causes and its own uncertainty — a photo alone is never treated as confirming a disease or prescribing a treatment. Attach a document instead and the same chat surface hands it to Laisha's document analysis.
It's for anyone who would rather ask a question in their own words than hunt through a menu of specific tools — a farmer unsure which calculator or report they actually need can just describe the problem here first.
A smallholder noticing a strange leaf pattern can open Ask Laisha, snap two photos, and get back an organized read of what's visible versus what's still uncertain, in the same conversation where they can then ask a completely different question about fertilizer timing.
