Crop Tools
Farm Calculator is the searchable home for Laisha's everyday farm arithmetic — the specific, unglamorous sums that decide whether a season is planned properly or guessed at.
It covers seed rate and seed requirement, plant population and spacing, fertiliser quantity and active-ingredient dosage, spray volume, area conversion, field geometry, cost sheets, pricing, profit and return, production planning, inventory planning and seed demand forecasting.
It also holds the field-record tools — field camera, plant counting, inspection recording and seed-lot recording — because a number is worth much more when there is a record of where and when it was taken.
It exists as a hub because these are the calculations a farmer does rarely enough to forget the formula and often enough to get wrong. A grower who under-orders seed by fifteen percent finds out at sowing, in a queue, with the tractor waiting.
It is arithmetic done correctly and nothing more. It does not know your soil test, your previous crop or your variety's behaviour, and it does not pretend to — the numbers it returns are the ones the formula gives for the figures you entered.
Most of it is free and works on the device without an account.
What it is. The index to Laisha's working tools, grouped by what you are doing: field operations, essential calculators, planning and costing decisions, AI tools and commercial ones — searchable, so you can find the right one without knowing its name.
When to open it. When you know the question and not the tool.
Have ready.
Step by step.
What it will not do. It is an index. It does nothing itself.
You want to know how much water a field needs this week and cannot remember what the tool is called.
What goes in:
What comes out:
This screen exists because a suite of thirty-odd tools is only useful if the right one can be found in a hurry, and nobody remembers thirty names.
Area and unit conversion, field geometry and mapping, irrigation scheduling, stack and storage capacity, soil test interpretation and soil health tracking, grain and seed quality, loan eligibility and insurance estimates, market prices and outlook, crop calendars, pest risk, post-harvest storage, warehouse and workforce records, and document analysis. Each has its own page here explaining exactly what it does.
Search by the problem rather than the name — 'water', 'area', 'price', 'store'. The tools are also grouped by activity: field operations, essential calculators, planning and costing, and the AI tools.
