GPS Mapping
Field Mapping traces a field's real boundary using the device's live GPS — walk the edge of a field (or drop points on the satellite map) and the app plots each point, then computes the enclosed area and perimeter from the resulting shape.
A satellite view and a dedicated walking mode make it usable directly out in the field, not just at a desk, and it's one of the very few screens in the app that uses Google Maps rather than the free OpenStreetMap Laisha uses elsewhere — the accuracy of a real GPS trace over an irregular boundary that manual dimension entry can't capture.
It's for a field with a shape too irregular to describe with a few straight-line dimensions, where Land Measurement Intelligence's manual shapes fall short.
A farmer with an oddly shaped plot bordered by a stream can walk the boundary once with their phone, and get back a real area figure instead of guessing at an approximate rectangle.
