Weather-Based Watering Plan
Irrigation Scheduler builds a real watering plan from actual science: reference evapotranspiration computed the FAO-56 Penman-Monteith way (via Open-Meteo's global forecast data, with a disclosed Hargreaves-Samani fallback when full weather data isn't available), multiplied by each crop's real, published FAO-56 crop coefficient, then adjusted for the live chance of rain at the farmer's location.
It is genuinely global rather than India-specific — every input is either pure astronomy (latitude and calendar date) or already-global live weather, and the farmer can search any location worldwide, the same location search Weather uses, not just their own saved farm.
Field size can be entered in any real land unit — acres, hectares, square metres, bigha and more — using the same converter that powers Area Calculator, rather than forcing acres only.
This is a paid feature, checked against the farmer's real subscription rather than gated by anything invented on the screen itself.
A farmer irrigating wheat who wants to know whether to water this week can get a schedule that already accounts for this week's actual forecast rain, not a generic weekly amount that ignores the weather.
